Decorating

Through the different stages of my life my room and how it looks has changed. When I was a kid it was full of toys, dolls, paintings I had done and other cute little girly things. When I was in highschool my room was a typical teen girls room. Plastered with posters of gorgeous male rock stars, movie stars and of bands like blink182 haha. When I was in year 12 I took a few of the posters down. Near the end of year 12 I took all the posters of famous people down. I now had bare walls. When I started uni I put a big poster of a road sign with a stick figure falling over drunk which read, “student crossing”. I put up 2 more posters. One of the movie lord of the rings and another of the Matrix movie. My matrix poster came down after abought a year at uni. My student crossing one came down early 3rd year of uni. When I finished uni and started working this year I started feeling more responsible. Started feeling more like and adult. Which brings me to the whole point of this stupid post. The last few weeks I have been trying to make my room less reckless uni student and more, young smart professional

So yeah. I bought new sheets and quilt covers from mercer+reid, pillows, artwork and picture frames. I got rid of all my beanie babies that were sitting on my bed head (i still have 3 toys that will sit on my bed for years to come becuase they are fom special people)and I got a lovely throw rug from country road. Here is the result;
