Went to my ob appointment today. I got to see my baby again! Yipee. The spine is so much more defined! Couldnt find out the sex because it wasnt sitting in the right position. Hopefully I can find out the sex at my 19 week scan!

Graduation

Today was my post grad graduation day. It was so depressing because everyone had someone there except me. They all got to go and celebrate afterwards except me, because I had to go to the ward and work. I nearly cried. I had to really concentrate on not balling my eyes out. Pregnancy hormones are crazy. I’m never getting pregnant again. My friends say you forget all this craziness once you have your baby.

I got a Hp Mini the other week. I love it. I think it’s the nicest looking little laptop I have seen. It has a decent size keyboard too.

I’ve been using it to go on the net and write up my essay for work. It’s perfect for me.

hrm, yep. It’s been ages since I have written in my blog. My blog is kinda dead. So much stuff on here doesnt even work. Its kind of sad when life gets so busy that you stop doing the things you once enjoyed.

oh well.

I’m so over everything. All i want to do when im not working is sleep, eat and watch tv. Exciting, I know. I’m 24 years old, but i feel like im 50.

I’ve also gone from skinny to blah.

Aww, I received a thankyou card from a patients relatives! I’m bragging because usually they give one to the whole ward, but I received one all to myself! lol. Makes me feel special.

Why is it that after months of stressing and becoming a skinny biatch that I start eating like a horse and gain weight now? 3 months out from the wedding? argggh. And just so I dont piss people off let me change that to “skinny-er biatch”. I dont want to be a fatty walking down the isle, but I have a freaking sweet tooth. Ok, starting tomorrow, no more chocolate, lollies, or soft drink. Soft drink is a killer. It’s sugar in a can. I only drink lemonade. I’m not a fan of other softdrinks. Coke is disgusting. Anyway, yes, no more “bad” food.

Mark is totally moved into our place now. We are just waiting for our couch to come. We have every other major thing. Maaaan. Moving out for the first time costs a shitload. In Syd it would be very hard for a person on an ordinary wage (e.g. registered nurse, lol) to live on their own (and possibly save for a house). Now I understand why people share. Looking for a place to rent in Sydney, that is around $300 is really difficult. We wanted to rent a cheap place so that we could save money to buy our own place. The place we found to rent is a gem. Some of the other places we saw were real shietholes! We saw a place before this one which was filthy! The landlord obviously had not looked after the place. It was disgusting. Some landlords are obviously greedy. My parents are landlords and they always make sure they have the property cleaned up before anyone else moves in.

Anyway. We are lucky we have found this place. It is clean and safe and nice. The agent is nice too.

I’m so proud of myself. I made mark a poster thing out of an old cartoon book he had. I bought a frame from ikea for it. Man, thank god for ikea. They have so many nifty little things.

Wont be homeless

Hiya. Mark and I won’t be homeless! haha. I spent my whole week of annual leave trying very hard to find an apartment to lease. I found one for us. It’s a cheapo place, but its clean and safe. We need to live in a cheap place so that we can save up for a house!

I had a migraine attack this week. Nausea, weekness, flashing lights on my left eye, blurred vision.

I’m so easily stressed. I hope I dont die of a stroke.
